Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the travel date—airlines may not allow you to board, and you could be denied re-entry home. NORTH ELEUTHERA AIRPORT (ELH) ELH is the closest airport to Harbour Island. It is tiny and rustic, but surprisingly efficient and well organized. There are direct flights into ELH Airport from: Atlanta ( Delta ) Charlotte ( American )Fort Lauderdale ( United )Miami ( American ) From there, it is a five minute taxi and then a five minute boat ride to the main government dock on Harbour Island. We recommend booking your flights as early as possible, as prices are expected to increase significantly closer to our date.

Water Taxi

After landing at ELH, check-in with customs and collect your luggage. Outside the airport, let one of the waiting taxis know that you are heading to Harbour Island. The taxi drivers will know to take you to the ferry dock, and help guide you to where the water taxis are, which depart for Harbour Island every 10 minutes. After a quick 5-minute boat ride, you’ve made it! Advanced reservations are not necessary for either mode of transportation. Cash (Bahamian or US) is the only form of payment taken for both fares. The main mode of transportation on Harbour Island is golf cart.&nbsp;We highly recommend you secure your golf cart as soon as possible.&nbsp;Whether you rent yourself or your hotel concierge helps arrange it for you, it is best to book them ahead of time. You can pick up your golf cart once you arrive, have it dropped at the main dock, or have the rental company leave it at your house/hotel upon arrival. Please note, on Harbour Island they drive on the left side of the road. Getting There 

Coral Sands Resort is the center of our wedding weekend, and we’d love for you to stay on property with us. With recent renovations, a pink sand beach, an infinity pool, and great cocktails—it’s the perfect spot to relax and celebrate together. How do I get around the island?

The main mode of transportation on the island is golf cart. Most everything on the island is a five-minute golf cart ride away!&nbsp;Make sure you book your golf cart in advance of your arrival.&nbsp;Please refer to the Travel page for more information on how and where to book. Please note, on Harbour Island they drive on the left side of the road.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME TO THE WEDDING?

You are more than welcome to bring your children to Harbour Island, however,&nbsp;all of the wedding events are adults only. If you need babysitting services, please contact&nbsp;<a href="https://www.conchandcoconut.com/pages/babysitting-service" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Conch and Coconut</a>&nbsp;at concierge@conchandcoconut.com.

Do I need Bahamian currency?

No. U.S. dollars are accepted everywhere, but if you use cash, you will most likely receive change in Bahamian dollars.&nbsp;Be sure to bring cash upon your arrival for the taxi and water taxi to get to the island. Most of the stores and restaurants take credit cards, but a few are cash only, so be sure to ask before dining. Currently 1 USD = 1 BSD

Do I need an outlet converter?

No, the outlets in the Bahamas are the same as the U.S.
